Due to the economy, our organization is in a financial distress situation at this present time. We are in need of 12,000 0.42 postage stamps for a huge mailing fundraising mailing for The Gift Of A Helping Hand Charitable Trust.
We need to solicited our donors in order to continue to serve the 80% of households in metropolitan Detroit, Michigan living at or below the poverty-rate.

History
The Gift Of A Helping Hand Charitable Trust was founded on January 10, 2002. The organization was formed to serve the needy, underprivileged, underserved, economically disadvantaged and poverty-stricken families and individuals residing in distressed communities in southeastern Michigan.
Purpose
The purpose of The Gift Of A Helping Hand Charitable Trust is to serve the underprivileged, underserved, economically disadvantaged, poverty-stricken and low-income families and individuals in metropolitan Detroit, Michigan and other Wayne counties with support, assistance and resources in which our programs, services and activities offers on a day to day basis.
Mission statement
Our mission is to assist in lifting our voices against illiteracy and putting an end to poverty, hunger and homelessness in southeastern Michigan and other Wayne counties.
