The story of “Family Bones” centers around the elderly serial killers Ray and Faye Copeland. They are the oldest couple convicted of serial killing and sentenced to death in the United States. The story is told through the eyes of Rays nephew during one hot summer on the family farm. The writer, Shawn Granger, also happens to be their actual great nephew in real life.
