Award Winning Books, “Becka goes to San Diego” Hits Shelves in September
Launch Party planned with Barnes & Noble at Library in San Diego County
(San Diego, CA) – “Becka goes to San Diego” part of the award winning and best selling series of Children’s Books “Becka and the Big Bubble” hits shelves Nationwide in September. Barnes & Noble and authors, Gretchen Schomer Wendel and Adam Schomer, have teamed up for the much anticipated book launch party at the New Ocean View Encinitas Library (540 Cornish Dr., Encinitas, CA 92024.) This year “Becka and the Big Bubble, BECKA GOES TO SAN DIEGO” is being released. This is the fifth book in the award winning series of books. The event is Sunday, September 14th, from 2pm-5pm. At the free event, open to the public, one can “meet Becka”, be put inside a bubble, enjoy complimentary wine, beer, juice and food, face painting, live music, walk away with a goodie bag and much more.
Books will be available for purchase (SRP: $11.99) at the party and 15% of proceeds go back to local schools. The TV show: The cartoon version of the Becka series will begin airing on TV in major media markets this summer.
The authors: “Becka and the Big Bubble” books are written by brother and sister team Adam Schomer and Gretchen Schomer Wendel. A former Ivy-league soccer player at Cornell, Adam Schomer lives in Los Angeles and is both a writer and an actor. Gretchen Schomer Wendel is former television reporter and producer. She lives in San Diego, California with her husband and two young children.
