How do I submit a press release through National PR Wire?
It’s easy. First, register and become a member so you can start submitting your releases. Once you activate your account and log in you’ll see a button that asks you to click on it to submit your release. Click on the button, fill out the form, and your press release is sent to us for review.
Does National PR Wire review every release?
Yes, we review all releases prior to approving them for distribution. We will automatically reject press releases that have the following content:
- Violent content, racial intolerance, or advocacy against any individual, group, or organization
- Pornography, adult, or mature content
- Hacking/cracking content
- Illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia
- Excessive profanity
- Gambling or casino-related content
- Content regarding programs which compensate users for clicking on ads or offers, performing searches, surfing websites, or reading emails
- Excessive, repetitive, or irrelevant keywords in the content or code of web pages
- Deceptive or manipulative content or construction to improve your site’s search engine ranking, e.g., your site’s PageRank
- Sales or promotion of weapons or ammunition (e.g., firearms, fighting knives, stun guns)
- Sales or promotion of beer or hard alcohol
- Sales or promotion of tobacco or tobacco-related products
- Sales or promotion of prescription drugs
- Sales or promotion of products that are replicas or imitations of designer goods
- Sales or distribution of term papers or student essays
- Any other content that is illegal, promotes illegal activity, or infringes on the legal rights of others
We also reject press releases that are not newsworthy, or that deal with inflammatory content, or that contain copyrighted material. We also check all sites that press releases link to in order to be sure the site is legitimate and does not violate our terms. Press releases that meet our standards but link to sites that do not will still be published but links will be deactivated. Don’t even bother to submit releases that don’t meet our guidelines, we’ll reject them as soon as we read them.
How long will it take for my press release to appear in search engines and RSS feeds?
It may take a few hours or a few days - we don’t know. We alert the major search engines every time there has been a press release published on our page. However, your press release will appear almost instantaneously in the various RSS feed and feed directories that we distribute to.
